Meet the Founder

Michael Chaoui is the Founder of Atlas One. As Atlas One’s Principal Consultant, Michael’s experience has spanned over a decade across Big 4, FAANG, multinational corporations, public tech companies, and start-ups that grew at breakneck speed across various industries within the public and private sectors in the United States and internationally.

Michael works with clients by helping them build trust and security programs to protect their organization's data and transform their GRC programs into business-enabling functions. He takes a tailored approach when developing solutions and strategies to effectively manage risk and build programs that establish and sustain trust among all relevant stakeholders.

He has successfully designed and implemented security & GRC programs from the ground up, which has enabled organizations to achieve SOC2 compliance, ISO 27001 certification, GDPR compliance and alignment with NIST frameworks.

Michael takes a coaching approach to leading teams and working with others to solve the often multi-faceted challenges his peers face, often drawing from his own experiences in navigating the complexities of security cultures in various organizations.
